Hey, I'm Mike. If you're reading this, you probably found my music first — and that's fine, because the music is the story. Every song I've written came out of something I lived through, and most of what I lived through, I only made it through because of my faith.
I didn't grow up with it all figured out. Life has a way of handing you detours — the kind that humble you, the kind that make you take a hard look in the mirror. I've had my share. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I found out that grace isn't just a church word. It's real, it's personal, and it meets you right where you are — not where you wish you were.
That's what my song "Change" is about. Jesus isn't looking for perfect people; He's looking for people willing to turn. And "Rearview Mirror"? That's the other half of it — once you've turned, don't keep staring at what's behind you. Forget the past. Move forward into what He's got ahead.
I'm still on the road. I don't have it all together, and I'm not pretending to. But I know Who's walking with me, and that's enough to sing about.
